Accordingly, consumer socialization of children was evaluated by considering socialization tools such as family, friends, mass media and recreational activities. In this study, the relations that children established with socialization tools and what values and behaviors they acquired birli a result of these relations were interpreted. The research was designed according to the qualitative research method and the veri of the research was obtained through in-depth interviews. In the analysis of the data, how the children experienced consumer socialization, how active subjects they became against consumer socialization and which consumption values and behaviors they acquired bey a result of the consumer socialization were evaluated. When the themes reached in the study were evaluated together, it was seen that children became consuming individuals. Children are introduced to the values of consumer culture at an early age; however, their economic dependence prevents them from consuming as adult individuals.
